Ode to Wine

A friend asked me one time, "Hey Travis, what's your obsession with wine these days?"  I casually replied, "Well, let's say I go out and drink beer every night.  Eventually people will look at me as a damn drunk.  But if I go out and drink wine every night, then I am worldly and sophisticated!"

Welcome to the site dedicated to showcasing the artistic creations of Ryan and Travis McDearmon.  We are brothers who come from the humbled yet sarcastically named town of Metropolis, Illinois.  We hope you enjoy our work and welcome you to comment on any piece that is presented.

At first most of what will be on the site is work that we have completed over the years.  In time we will begin to  include works-in-progress along with plans for new adventures.  We mostly work in oil paint but dabble in many other mediums.  I hope you enjoy!
